Creative Director of MAC Cosmetics Drew Elliot said in a statement: “Saweetie’s message of self-confidence and female empowerment is the perfect match for a brand like MAC that has always embraced unapologetic self-expression with open arms.
“She has always loved our products, she told me she has swallowed pounds of M·A·C lip gloss in her life.”
This year, the ICY rapper also partnered with McDonald’s to launch the ‘Saweetie Meal’.
The 28-year-old is the first female musician, and the first African-American female musician, to have a celebrity menu collaboration with McDonald’s.
