Congratulations to Kevin Powers! The younger brother of actor Keith Powers recently graduated from the HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), Morehouse College.
Celebrating the moment, Kevin captioned his photo: “From being homeless and sleeping in my car for months, to sneaking in the locker room to get out the car, jumping from motel to motel tryna’ make it work, to tearing both my acls and having 3 total knee surgeries ending football, to transferring to 2 schools, to graduating from one of the most prestigious colleges WITH HONORS. Oh yeah, and I’m the first generation in my family.
“Stay down! You appreciate the top more when you’ve experienced the bottom. Everybody that knows me, knows how long I’ve been on this journey, This feel too good.”
