The Game and White Chicks actress Brittany Daniel has become a mother!
The 45-year-old welcomed her daughter Hope with husband Adam Touni after her twin sister Cynthia donated her egg.
Brittany was unable to have children after battling with stage 5 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (a type of cancer). She was diagnosed in 2011 and has thankfully been cancer-free since 2014.
Brittany used a surrogate to carry her sister’s donated egg and on October 2021 she welcomed her daughter Hope.
The actress told People Magazine: “I just started scream-crying in the delivery room. Everybody started crying: all the nurses, the doctors, because they knew what I had been through and just the pure joy that she was in our arms.”
She added: “I’m just so happy. When you’ve worked this hard, I mean, it’s almost 10 years in the making. It’s just been amazing.”
Brittany and her twin Cynthia rose to fame after appearing in Doublemint gum commercials and the teen TV series ‘Sweet Valley High’. Cynthia however, went on to embark in a career in photography.
