A new initiative called Pickni Uniforms has been launched!

Jords – a rapper from Croydon – co-founded the social enterprise with his friend Jamahl Rowl.

The initiative provides free school blazers to children from low income families.

Families who claim free school meals in the borough of Croydon will be eligible for the scheme.

Jords said, “As the well-known saying goes ‘it takes a village to raise a child’, and we should be working to ease the pressure that parents and carers feel. It’s my honour to be able to help out in any way possible.”
