Ann Arbor in Michigan has become the first U.S city to require free menstrual products in all public toilets!

The rule, which aims to tackle period poverty, is set to come into place at the start of 2022.

In a statement, Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor said: “Access to menstrual products is a fundamental human necessity. It’s a matter of public health and personal dignity. And it’s something that should be provided to everyone.”
