The Real Housewives franchise host Andy Cohen has spoken out about the backlash he received after The Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 reunion!
If you were tuned into the reunion, you probably felt that Andy Cohen was acting biased when it came to the feud between housewives, Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels.
Many viewers took to social media to express their anger and felt that Andy should have been more neutral in his hosting duties instead of acting as if he was on Candiace Dillard’s side.
Well … In an all new episode of Watch What Happens Live! After Show, Andy Cohen has explained that he did in fact question Candiace Dillard too, however it wasn’t aired.
Asking Rachel Lindsay if she was furious at his reunion hosting, Rachel responded, “I wasn’t furious, that’s not the right word. I did think you were more on Candiace’s side than Monique’s, you held her feet to the fire more than Candiace.”
Speaking on the Candiace and Monique feud, new Housewife of Atlanta Drew Sidora expressed that she felt the feud was a reaction to childhood and life trauma. Drew went on to praise the women for seeking help by turning to council and said how she would love for the two to be able to reunite their friendship.
