Congratulations to Lily Collins and filmmaker Charlie McDowell – the couple are married!
The Emily in Paris actress, 32, revealed the lovely news on Instagram by sharing photos of their wedding day.
She wrote: “I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…”
Sharing more photos, she continued: “What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality. I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start…”
Whilst Lily is the daughter of British musician Phil Collins and his second wife Jill Tavelman, Charlie McDowell, 38, is the son of British actor Malcolm McDowell and American actress Mary Steenburgen.
Lily was born in Surrey, but following her parents’ divorce at the age of 6, she moved to Los Angeles with her mother.
Taking to his social media, Charlie wrote: “I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I’ve ever known. I love you @lilycollins.”
