Twitter is set to launch their first African staff team in Ghana!
Twitter’s founder, Jack Dorsey, took to the platform to announce that they have been actively hiring for roles in Ghana, Africa!
The Twitter blog post read: “We are looking for specialists to join several teams including product, design, engineering, marketing and communications. Full details on current job openings can be found on the Twitter Careers site.”
The post also stated that it was Ghana’s democracy, support of free speech, online freedom, and the Open Internet that made them choose Ghana to be their first African location.
As of now, the staff in Ghana will work from home whilst they explore ‘the opportunity to open an office in Ghana in the future’.
