The show will continue her initiative to promote healthy eating among children. During the Obama administration, the former first lady launched her “Let’s Move!” campaign to combat childhood obesity in America.

“With the help of friendly new faces like the supermarket owner, Mrs. Obama, and a magical flying shopping cart as their guide, ‘Waffles and Mochi’ blast off on global ingredient missions, traveling to kitchens, restaurants, farms, and homes all over the world, cooking up recipes with everyday ingredients alongside renowned chefs, home cooks, kids and celebrities,” Netflix said in a statement.

The cooking show is a collaboration with Partnership for a Healthier America to encourage young children and families to make healthy meals in the kitchen.

Waffles + Mochi will premiere on the streaming platform on March 16.
