Earlier this year, Murphy Goode Winery announced that they had a $10K a month job vacancy for someone to move to California and learn about wine!
Well, it looks like they’ve found their candidate!
28-year-old Lindsay Perry – a sports marketing professional, has been announced as one of the two winners for the ‘A Really Goode Job’.
The Pennsylvania native will learn about e-commerce, work with colleagues to build awareness and demand for Murphy Goode Winery, as well as shadowing Dave Ready Jr (Wine maker) and the winemaking team on the winery operation.
Veronica Hebbard, 28, was also a winner of the contest. Both candidates were selected for their creativity and passion for wine.
Lindsay took inspiration from the Legally Blonde movie for her video application.
The vacancy received over 7000 applications from people all over the world and the top 17 finalists had to have a week of meeting employees, each other and in-person interviews.
As well as a $10K salary, the two new employees will have free rent for one year and a supply of Murphy Good Wine to take home.
