College Athletes Can Now Make Money From Endorsements, Social Media And Other Ventures For The First Time In History

College students can now profit by monetising their social media accounts, starting their own businesses, participating in advertising campaigns and other ventures for the first time in history!

This come after the NCAA Board of Governors approved an interim policy that gives student-athletes in all three divisions the ability to profit from sponsorship opportunities.

NCAA President Mark Emmert said in a news release: “This is an important day for college athletes since they all are now able to take advantage of name, image and likeness opportunities.”

College sport is a billion-dollar industry that makes money from the talents of college athletes through ticket sales, television contracts and merchandise. Finally, college athletes will be able to earn from their talents too.
