Ahead of the highly anticipated UEFA Euros Tournament, the inspiring ‘Krept And Konan: We Are England’ documentary aired last night (09/06/21) on BBC.

The documentary followed the rap duo on their quest to make a song that celebrates the England football team. Many songs such as the 1990 ‘World In Motion’ and the 1996 ‘Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home)’ have gone down in history as classic anthems in celebration of England’s national football team.

However, with the current issue of racism in the sport, the doc also showcased Krept and Konan exploring national identity. This is reflected in their desire to create a song that celebrates the diverse England team we have today.

Guest appearances include Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Aston Villa’s Tyrone Mings, rapper Aitch and more.
