Congratulations to Alex Scott who will be the new presenter of BBC’s Football Focus.
Alex will become the first female host of the show as she replaces Dan Walker. Football Focus broadcasts every Saturday at 12pm.
The former Arsenal and Birmingham City player has become an established sports broadcaster since her 16-year football playing career.
The 36-year-old was awarded an MBE in 2016 for her “outstanding contribution to Women’s Football”.
She made over 100 appearances for the English national team and represented Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics.
