Delightful news as Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin and former Disney Channel actress Brenda Song welcome their first child together!

Their son Dakota entered the world on Monday, April 5th at 1:10 pm, in Los Angeles. Baby Dakota weighed in at 6lb 14oz.

In the couple’s statement to Esquire, they said: “We’re overjoyed.”

The baby was named after Culkin’s late sister, who sadly passed away in a car accident in 2008, at the age of 29.

The new parents first met in 2017 on the set of their movie Changeland.

Brenda Song, 33, is known for her role as London Tipton in the Disney Channel show Suite Life of Zack and Cody. As well as TV shows, she has also appeared in many movies including Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior, The Social Network, Like Mike, Secret Obsession and more.

The famous Christmas movie we have all come to love and know as Home Alone, was when the one and only Culkin reached the limelight at just 10-years-old! He starred in the first as well as its sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York. He continued as a child star in movies such as Richie Rich, the heart-touching My Girl, Uncle Buck and more.

From keeping the thieves away from his home to embracing an entirely new genre of horror, the now 40-year-old Home Alone star is set to film alongside Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson in the 10th season of American Horror Story … A change that we’re excited to see!
