
For the first time ever British soaps which include EastEnders, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks, will be joining forces for cross over episodes.
The collaborative production, which also includes dramas Doctors, Casualty and Holby City, will highlight the issue of climate change.
Emmerdale’s executive producer Jane Hudson, who said: “Never before have all five soaps and both continuing dramas come together and united in telling one story.
“And we certainly haven’t seen characters pop up in other shows before.”
The crossover episodes will air from 1st of November, which is the same weeks leaders will be meeting at the COP26 conference to discuss climate change.
