In 2015 a photo of an elderly man teaching a young guy how to fix his tie went viral.

Photographed by Redd Desmond Thomas, the young man in the photo had been struggling with his tie at the train station.

Noticing the young man’s struggles, the lady in the red coat asked him: “Do you know how to tie it properly?” to which he responded, “No ma’am.”

The woman then asked her husband to help, which resulted in the older man immediately giving necktie lessons, making sure the young man would always know how to fix his tie.
