Chad Turns – a UPS driver, received a heartwarming gift and a round of applause from his customers in the small town of Dauphin, Pennsylvania. Residents of the area decided to show their appreciation for Turns because he has always gone the extra mile for customers. Dozens of people surprised him, yelling “thank you” as he arrived in a parking lot to complete a pick-up.

“The whole town has had personal experience with Chad,” Adam Shickley, a Dauphin resident said. “He once thought a package was a gift, and there was a picture on the front. My kids were playing outside, so he waited until his shift was done and came back to make sure they didn’t see it.”

Resident Jenny Shickley organized the event after talking with others on a Facebook group about how grateful they are for Turn. He has been kind and hard-working during the COVID-19 pandemic. She raised $1,000 for Turns in two weeks and gave him a card signed by community members.
