Joe Biden’s Daughter Ashley Biden Talks Election, Family And Tragedy In Powerful TV-Interview

In her first ever TV-interview, the future first daughter is opening up about her father becoming president, her family’s strong bond and also the tragedies that the Bidens have faced. In 1972, president-elect Joe Biden tragically lost his first wife Neila and baby daughter Naomi in a car accident, and in 2015 Biden’s eldest child Beau Biden passed away from brain cancer at the age of 46. Out of his four children, Biden’s two surviving children are Hunter, who is Biden’s second child with his first wife, and Ashley who is his only child with second wife, Jill.

The interview displays such grace, poise and pride. What was even more special, was that Ashley, 39, was being interviewed by Today’s Jenna Bush Hager, who happens to be one of the twin daughters of the 43rd U.S. President, George W. Bush.
