Congratulations to Drake who has become the first artist in history to surpass 50 billion combined streams on Spotify!
ChartMasters, an independent music data website, calculated that the Canadian rapper has amassed over 35.72 billion streams of his own songs and 14.30 billion streams of songs he has featured on. This totals to over 50 billion streams on Spotify.
Taking to Twitter to congratulate his friend and fellow rapper, Future tweeted: “50 billion streams SHEESH congrats to THE BOY.”
Drake’s next album “Certified Lover Boy” is set to be released this year.
