In 2019 Patrick Lawson was voted London’s happiest bus driver.

The Hackney born driver spent over 20 years being homeless and battling with drugs.

However after seeking help from The Single Homeless Project (SHP) and Hackney Community Transport (HCT group), Patrick was guided into employment and in 2017 he became a bus driver.

Patrick makes sure to joyfully greet every passenger that comes on his bus.
