
Sir Anthony Hopkins has just become the oldest actor win an Oscar.
At the age of 83, the legend won Best Actor for his role in The Father where he plays a man who is coming to terms with having dementia.
This is Sir Anthony’s second Oscar – he got his first 29 years ago when he won best actor for his role in The Silence Of The Lambs.
Due to being absent from the awards ceremony, he posted his acceptance speech on his Instagram page. The Welsh actor also gave a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who was also nominated for Best Actor.
