It didn’t take long for this dog to become a hero after saving her owner’s life!

Haley Moore was walking her dog Clover, through the Stittsville neighbourhood of Ottawa, when she suddenly passed out and started seizing. Barking at first to wake her owner up, Clover then saw a car drive by, giving her an idea for how to get help.

Clover freed herself from her leash and stopped an oncoming truck.

The driver, Dryden Oatway, said, “It was really impressive. The dog, Clover, actually blocked my way. She kind of backed into the road to block the truck.” 

Not long after she caught Oatway’s attention, Clover managed to catch the attention of another neighbour and it didn’t take long for Haley to get the help she needed – all thanks to her loyal best friend. 

“All I remember is waking up in the ambulance and being very confused,” Hayley told Inside Edition. 

We know of one good dog that is going to be treated like royalty from now on.

“Diane comes home with a couple of big steaks and I thought, ‘Wow this is great I’m getting a steak,’ and she said, ‘No, it’s for Clover for doing such a good job’,” Haley’s Dad tells CTV.
