Amazing news as Grace Victory has woken up from an almost three-month-long coma! The 30-year-old YouTuber took to twitter on March 8 to announce that she was awake.

“I’m awake,” Grace said in the tweet. In another post, she continued to say, “Baby boy is thriving at home x.”

Victory tested positive for the coronavirus last December. She was in the third trimester of her pregnancy at the time, so doctors induced her labor even though the baby wasn’t due until February. She gave birth to her son on Christmas Eve and was put into an induced coma so her body could heal.

Her family posted a message about Victory’s situation on her social media pages when she was first put into an induced coma and expressed their hope for a speedy recovery.

“Grace developed Covid-19 two weeks ago and although her symptoms were mild at first, they worsened as the days went on,” the message said. “Which meant they had to deliver the baby as soon as possible, as she was just too unwell to carry on with the pregnancy.”

Victory and her boyfriend Lee are now happy at home with their newborn son! On December 21 (2020), Lee posted a photo on Instagram of the two of them with a heartfelt message:

“My Grace! The Love I feel for this woman is unfathomable.”

Victory started as a make-up and fashion YouTuber. The content on her channel later progressed to addressing eating disorders, mental health, and domestic violence. Victory has done a lot of work to help people and continues to do so now that she’s awake and healthy.
