We are glad to hear that Delonte West is doing much better! After starting treatment for his drug and alcohol addiction last year, Delonte is now working at the rehab facility that he attended.

With the help of Dallas Mavericks (basketball team) owner Mark Cuban, Delonte was admitted into rehab last year after Mark picked him up at a Dallas gas station. This occurred after troubling videos and pictures of the former NBA star had circulated, showing Delonte getting arrested, fighting and begging in the street.

The 37 year old has a history of mental-health and substance-related struggles, however he seems to be on the right track!

After West was admitted into rehab last year, Mark shared a few pictures of Delonte looking good in his recovery journey.

Shams Charania, the NBA Insider for The Athletic and Stadium, confirmed that Delonte is now an employee at the rehab facility.

He tweeted: “Update on Delonte West: West now has a job at the Rebound therapy centre in Florida, which is the rehab facility he attended.

“Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban reunited West and his mother in September and has stayed in close contact.”

We are so happy for Delonte’s strides in the right direction! Thank God for good people around him!
