In a recent interview with Bruce Bozzi during his segment Quarantined with Bruce, Cameron gushed about how being a mother and a wife has been the most fulfilling part of her life. The iconic Charlie’s Angel superstar has been away from our screens for 7 years! It was the big musical Annie in 2014 that the actress last starred in.
Cameron got married to Musician Benji Madden in 2015; the pair welcomed their daughter in December 2019, but announced the birth in January 2020. Benji Madden’s twin brother, Joel Madden, is married to Nicole Richie.
Talking about a Hollywood return, Diaz stated that going back to acting was not on her mind. She talked about how she couldn’t imagine being on set for 14 or more hours, as she would be away from her baby.
The 48-year-old did give a glimmer of hope as she explained a return to Hollywood was not permanently off the table.”I’m never going to say never about anything in life. I’m just not that person. So will I ever make a movie again? I’m not looking to. But will I? I don’t know. I have no idea.”
Diaz also discussed her Avaline wine brand, which she owns with fashion entrepreneur Katherine Power. “Avaline is the only sort of day-to-day work that I’m doing other than being a wife and a mother, which has been the most… rewarding.”
