A museum where you can create your own unique noodle pot and have a go at pulling noodles from scratch? Meet Cupnoodles Museum.

Japan’s Nissin Foods recently expanded outside Japan by setting up a Cupnoodles Museum in Hong Kong. This newest museum is located in located in the China Hong Kong City commercial complex along the Canton Road.

Originally located in Japan, this is the first Cupnoodles Museum outside Japan.

“Cupnoodles Museum is one of the most popular travel destinations in Japan, and we have been in search of an ideal location over the years to set up one in Hong Kong,” said Nissin Foods Hong Kong.

The HongKong branch website states: ‘This interactive museum is designed to stir the creativity and curiosity within every visitor and provide a rich educational experience … Here you will gather the knowledge that inspires invention and discovery and find the creativity within you by seeing, touching, playing, eating, and having fun.’

Visitors will be able to choose between 4 soups and 12 toppings.

They will also get to kneed, steam, season and flash-dry their own ramen noodles from scratch at Demae Icco Factory (HK$120/£11.20 for 90 minutes).

The almost 10,000 square-foot Hong Kong attraction opened on March 26th (2021).
