Beyoncé and Solange’s mother Tina Lawson is launching a new Facebook show called ‘Talks With Mama Tina’.
Announcing the news Tina, 67, wrote: “I’m so excited to announce the launch of my new @wetheculture @Facebookwatch show ‘Talks With Mama Tina’ where I’ve invited some of my favourite people over to have a talk with me. I loved filming this show and sitting down with so many amazing people because we got to have such honest heartfelt conversations and I got to make them my famous GUMBO!”
She added: “Thank you to my baby @beyonce and my beautiful grand babies for making this special theme song for the show. Are you guys ready to watch?”
Tina’s celebrity guests include Kevin Hart, Kelly Rowland, Zendaya, Marsai Martin and Tiffany Haddish.
The show’s first episode aired Wednesday 22nd December.
Happy for her mother, Beyoncé wrote on her Instagram stories: I’m so proud of you Mama! Can’t wait to watch your show tonight!”
Tina is the grandmother of Beyoncé’s children Blue, 9, Sir,4, and Rumi, 4. She’s also the grandmother of Solange’s son Julez, 17.
The new talk show host is also known to refer to Kelly Rowland (Beyoncé’s best friend) as her daughter also. Therefore, this technically makes Tina the grandmother of Kelly’s sons Titan,7, and Noah,11 months.
Kelly’s biological mother passed away in 2014.
