The basketball player has received a scholarship offer from Tennessee State University.
Despite having one arm, the Dominican high school athlete has worked persistently at his craft, inspiring people from all over the world.
Hansel’s arm was amputated after a wall in the Dominican Republic collapsed on him when he was 6-years-old.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, the 17-year-old wrote: “Blessed to receive my first D1 offer from Tennessee State university #gotigers Thank you for believing in my talents @coachpenny1@tsutigersmbb @yann.edits.”
