Former police officer Derek Chauvin has been convicted of the murder of George Floyd.

The jury unanimously found Chauvin, 45, guilty on all charges which are second degree murder, third degree murder and second degree manslaughter.

Derek Chauvin’s bond was immediately revoked and he was placed in custody. His sentencing is expected to take place in 8 weeks.
